At Whistle Hill Studios our resident musician is Karen  who drives numerous initiatives.

Karen teaches Guitar and Ukulele and introductions to Banjo, Mandolin and Bass. Guest Tutors teach a variety of other music options ....Voice/Singing ...Performance Skills/Stagecraft ...Other Instruments Violin Harmonica Percussion Keyboards

Karen's Rates:
  • Individual Tutoring  $55 per hour / $30 per half-hour  
  • Group Classes  $250. School holiday or weekends. A series of 5 classes. Min 5.
  • Workshop  $30 Beginner Ukulele  

Specialist Workshops/Master Classes are subject to fee negotiation with workshop/class leader and cost can vary.

FIRST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH - Music Melting Pot - Seasonal. March, April, May, June, September, October and November.

Musicians, songwriters and music lovers come together. 12 noon BYO lunch to share followed by music jam. Please don't just turn up. Due to weather and occasional flooding please register so we can notify you of any special requirements or changes. Email musicmeltingpot@forestoftranquility.com to register.

Melting Pot Weekends - These happen annually by invitation. People can camp over and join with their instruments and voice for singalongs, jam-alongs and working up material with other musicians. Performance and workshop education opportunities available covering a variety of genres. 

LAST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH - HI TEA at the Forest of Tranquility.

High Tea with Emilia Krumm, guest artist talk and live gentle acoustic music. $35 online bookings through Forest of Tranquility website.

LIVE MUSIC NOVEMBER Saturday Night Forest of Tranquility FIREFLY MAGIC - Music and stories about nature and her creatures by songwriter and performer Natures Beat. 

SCHOOL HOLIDAY MUSIC - Ukulele Beginner Class

RECORDING STUDIO SERVICES  basic recording services for the amateur/hobbyist musician. Ideal option for musicians looking to put down demo tracks, and for non-performing musicians, singers, and songwriters who want to record their music for private use.
